Sonar

Sonar is a maritime-based concept.  Maritime-based is equal to pond, lake, stream,ocean, and larger bodies of water - dams for example.  Sonar is an inherent birth-based, conception-based concept; though has been modeled effectively to a given effect.  That effect is noted at the use of Sonar Buoys, Sonar Depth gauges, and other devices that are useful to boaters, enthusiasts, scientists in and out of controlled laboratories - in field researchers whom also study the nature of Sonar use devices that model the communication-based concept of what Sonar technically is:: a method for communicating.

Echolocation

Echolocation is a communication-based concept.  As similar to Sonar, echolocation does not have to be within bodies of water.  Echolocation can though be useful combined with Sonar-techniques at great depth.  However, at height is where echolocation is found as a method of communication between beings that are noted as not sensing with their eyesight.  The in field common name of the being most often found discussed in echolocation are Bats.  they tend to be not capable to using he eyesight - and instead have found survival-based upon echolocation.  the hyperlink above this paragraph discusses echolocation.  the one at the topmost area of this paper is for sonar.  The one at the lowest level is machine.

Machine 

Machine is a word given to man-made devices usually.  However; in the 1960s there was a movement to include the body as a  machine due to the nature of systems development at places such as Internal Business machines (IBM).  The neural, skeletal, cardiac, endocrine, and muscular systems are all organic-based - though at times IMPLANT surgery does alter the organic adding Pace makers, Cardiac Valves, Titanium to ligament surgery, steel to muscular surgery to strengthen broken bones, and also to close tears in the cranium or skull for example.  The nature of  machine has changed from the early 1700s where a water-based machine known as a MILL was useful in grinding wheat chaff into flour so to bake breads.  The use of Machines has increased and today some machines are automated in the function. For example ATM Machines - tend to enter the correct PIN number - have th actual ownership to the account -and have placed the funds into the account - the choice to obtain the funds is automated once the PIN is entered and the choice to take the funds is made - usually within the denominations of that available per transaction.  This allows the customer to not enter the Bank - thus the Machine automated the entry to the Bank though the teller and the person did not exactly interact.

Machines are complicated though also simplistic.  Echolocation is at times machine-based though usually not.  Sonar is a method of achieving a study of Machines below the waterline or water table in great depths to achieve communication and to also gauge distance from items such as mountains below the surface of the water.
